About Me

This is always the hardest part of life “tell us a little bit about yourself”. Does anybody read this anyway? Here goes nothing…

I am a “mid-20s” languages graduate (Spanish and Chinese, University of Nottingham) currently training for my next career move (to be revealed). As a linguist, I am big on all things international – food, music, people and culture. This blog started off as a travel blog, but has evolved to encompass all the things I’m passionate about – travel, sports and food. I swim for a local Masters team and spend my free time reading, as well as volunteering at a Cancer Research UK shop (sorting out the books) and with a local charity MySight Nottinghamshire (volunteering at sports sessions for the blind and visually impaired).

  1. Hi Leona,
It’s good to come across your blog, another Midlands languages girl who has a soft spot for Casualty and Holby City (do you still?). I look forward to reading more 🙂
